| I doubt the car "needs" to be painted. You probably want the car to be painted because you do like the current shape it's in. Paint can wait. You can probably pick up a front bumper cover cheap (maybe get lucky and find one in the same color as your car). Not sure if you really "need" this or want a new one because you have a crack in the current one. You don't need new cargo carpet...you want it. Car is still going to run and get you where you need to go without that carpet. Speed sensor is cheap and an easy fix to DIY. Do you need to change injectors because there is something wrong with your current ones or do you think you need different ones because of ethanol in your gas? You don't need new speakers, you want new speakers. You could listen to the sound of the engine. I used to have a nice system in my Z and took all but the stock speaker locations out. Now I just listen to the engine for the most part. You could get replacements fairly cheap. The windshield you may be able to get replaced free. I'm not sure about Cali, but in Florida if you have Comprehensive insurance they will replace your windshield for free. No deductible and they can't raise your rates for making a claim. The more troubling fact is that you say these items have you at a cross roads. If you think the costs of these items are too high, maybe you should sell the Z because you may not be able to afford to repair somthing down the road that really "needs" to be fixed.
